The 479 Report exists because this market deserved a weekly, owner-grade briefing and nobody was writing one. The big reports come out quarterly or twice a year; the news covers real estate as one beat among many. The gap in between — what your market did this week — is what I cover.
How the numbers are made
Every figure on this site traces to a public source with its as-of date attached: the Federal Reserve (FRED), Freddie Mac, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, city permit records, and published planning agendas. Report figures from Cushman & Wakefield / Sage Partners and the Arvest Skyline Report are cited by name and never republished wholesale. When I have an interest in a deal, it's labeled. When a number isn't available, the tile says so instead of guessing.
